"I would like to thank everyone who participated and supported our 3rd Annual Run To Remember in loving memory of Jeffrey Warne which took place May 24th, 2011 in Whitby. Also many thanks to our car washers who took part in our back to back Saturdays in late April. Many BFO members came by for a much needed car wash.

This year we raised a combined total of $6,566.11 for BFO-Durham.

We plan on keeping the car washes and the 4th Annual Run to Remember a yearly tradition. The run venue may be changed to Petticoke Creek Conservation area in Pickering with a bbq following (end of May). We are hoping to attract more runners, walkers and cyclists this way as we feel the "marathon event" may be slightly intimidating for the non runners.
